Cannonball Run [Nov. 1st, 2007|12:51 am]
It's been a while since I posted here, but I very much enjoyed reading this article about a record breaking coast-to-coast drive.  Good stuff.

Bitter is Back [Aug. 21st, 2007|09:47 am]
A day after Bitter threw in the towel, she found a new bitch girl.  She is known as Legal Bitch, and started out blogging about the recent case of Abigail Alliance v. Eschenbach in the DC Circuit. There some good discussion in the comments.  So The Bitch Girls will live on, helped out by legal bitch.

Bitter Throws in the Towel [Aug. 15th, 2007|03:57 pm]
The person who got me into blogging, and also my girlfriend, Bitter, has thrown in the towel and given up blogging. It's always sad when a blogger you've read for a while decides to quit. It's harder when they are the person who got you into blogging, and were instrumental in helping make you a success.

Blogging is a difficult and time consuming task if you're doing it right. It takes a lot out of you. As soon as you stop getting something in return out of it, is when it's time to give it up. It's not worth that kind of time for something you don't get enjoyment out of, and don't get paid for. As much as I hope Bitter picks the keyboard back up again someday and jumps back into the conversation, I understand why she feels like she's spent.

I will continue to blog, and try to keep growing my audience. This week, I'm guest blogging over at SayUncle while he's vacation at a secure, undisclosed location on a beach somewhere gulping down beer and sipping on cocktails. Blogging is a lot of work, but people are starting to take new media seriously. People at both NRA and The Brady Campaign know who I am. I've had Philadelphia city politicians come on and tell me to fuck off (literally, told me that, I kid you not. It's been pretty much confirmed). I enjoy a certain degree of notoriety, and have no intention of giving it up anytime soon.

This October I will be attending the Gun Blogger Rendevouz in Reno, Nevada.  It should be a pretty fun time.
